Transitions is a wonderful project by Exeter Community Initiatives; their work is dedicated to combat isolation and improve independence and wellbeing for adults who are feeling vulnerable or have limited support networks. Transitions works in the Exeter, East and Mid Devon areas, providing services and provide coaching and mentoring, meetups, guided self-help and small group workshops.
During this current Lockdown Transitions will be running a series of workshops on zoom. the workshops are open to anyone who meets the Transitions criteria: anyone looking to improve confidence, reduce isolation and gain independent living skills.
All workshops take place on zoom between 1.30pm and 3pm.
We start off on Thursdays 21 and 28 of January and 4 February with Connection Reflection: a workshop to help you better understand and manage your social relationships.

Thursday 11 February: Creature of Habit – exploring habits, routine & structure.
Thursday 18 February: Weather the Change – adapting to and accepting change.
Thursday 25 February: Food & Mood – the relationship between what we eat and how we feel.
Thursday 4 March: Make a Meal of It – meal planning on a budget.
Tuesdays 9, 16 and 23 March: Feel the Fear – self-help strategies to manage nerves and anxiety. A course of 3 weekly sessions
Thursday 11 March: Quids In – making your money go further.
Thursday 18 March: Balancing Act – planning a personal budget.
Thursday 25 March: Home and Dry – planning and navigating moving house.
