Lockdown 3: Together Drug & Alcohol Services

by | Jan 25, 2021

Lockdown and the isolation that comes with the pandemic can be a challenging time for some. If you need support to address your drug or alcohol use, Together Drug and Alcohol Services are continuing to operate throughout the pandemic. Where possible they are reducing face to face contact and opting for telephone calls, video chats and Zoom groups to keep in touch and work with clients on their recovery goals. For those that need face-to-face contact, the main hubs are open in Newton Abbot, Exeter and Bideford, with Barnstaple operating fixed hours during the week.

Together keeps on taking new referrals and duty support is available as always from Monday to Friday 9am-5pm by calling the main phone number 0800 233 5444 and then selecting the relevant option.

Needle exchange is available from:

  • Exeter and Newton Abbot hubs from Monday to Friday 9am – 5pm
  • Barnstaple hub on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 1pm-4pm by prior arrangement
  • Pharmacies across Devon (contact us for details)
  • Direct arrangement with Recovery Worker
  • Confidential postal service by calling 07706 802948

All are welcome to join the volunteer-led Flourish Cafes on Mondays and Fridays from 11am-12pm. These are informal social spaces where anyone is welcome to check-in, chat and get support from people in recovery. They take place via Zoom and joining details can be found by calling our duty number 0800 233 5444, emailing togetherallcomdev@edp.org.uk, or talking to a recovery worker.

Stay safe. Together we are stronger.
