CoLab Exeter’s purpose is to provide a shared workspace for a range of organisations to work together effectively to address key social challenges in the city. The aim of all joint work is to improve outcomes and life chances for a wide range of people, but particularly those who are experiencing complex and multiple disadvantages, such as homelessness, domestic and sexual violence and abuse, substance misuse, (re)offending, mental ill-health and poverty, we focus our support around recovery, belonging, rehabilitation and wellbeing.
What we offer:
A friendly Welcome Team to signpost and assist people looking for support from organisations based at Colab (open 10am - 2pm Mon-Fri during Covid restrictions)
Resilient Women Programme providing specialist support to women with complex life situations as well as a small grants to assist financial disadvantages
Learning courses and activities that provide opportunities for people to make meaningful and sustainable steps towards recovery and belonging
Exeter Homeless Partnership, a city wide project involving people with lived experience and the wider community looking at solutions to end homelessness in Exeter
